104 Berwick

We originally purchased this large block of land with the intension of subdividing into 3 townhouses. As things progressed through design and council input, it was decided that two luxury homes on larger blocks was the best way to make the use of the space.

This project came about through the desire to create two new homes in Berwick that stood out from the rest. We felt there was a hole in the market for new luxury homes, with features that most builders don’t offer as a spec home.

On face value, these houses stand out from the crowd because of their design and street appeal - You cannot drive past them without admiring them.

When you first enter both homes you are greeted with a double height void with large glass windows framing the canopy of the gum trees outside, giving it a sense of grandeur.

Next, is the way we have used glass and large open spaces to allow light and warmth to the houses.

We designed the interior to be open planned living, with the kitchen being the focal point of the living space.

The external features of the home is the different use of materials and colours.

Using white as the base colour of the home and having feature walls of both black render and blackbutt timber makes the areas pop and a distinctive look that is timeless.
